The fourth day at WESG World Finals has come to a close with four teams making their way to the playoffs from groups C and D: fnatic, AGO, Cloud9, and GODSENT.
Group C, featuring four European teams, saw the favored fnatic clinch first place with a 1-2-0 record, as they defeated Wololos and exchanged maps with BIG and AGO.
The Polish squad came in second place with a win over BIG, a tie against fnatic, and a loss to the Spaniards. Although AGO and the German side ended up with the same amount of points (4), Damian "Furlan" Kislowski's side claimed the playoffs spot due to the head-to-head result.
Group D was clear-cut. Cloud9 defeated all of their opponents to secure first place, while GODSENT beat MAX and Belgium at the end of the day to become the last playoffs team.
