Relive some of the ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals' top moments with the best photos from the event in Montpellier.
Liquid were crowned ESL Pro League Season 9 champions on Sunday when they defeated the local team, G2, in a four-map grand final at the Sud de France Arena in Montpellier. The North Americans thus win their second tournament in a row following a victory at DreamHack Masters Dallas, and will cash in on the $250,000 lion's share of the prize pool.
Liquid, who beat teams like MOUZ and Astralis on the way to the final, are now just one win away from bagging the $1 million prize from the Intel Grand Slam, as they have won three qualifying events in a row. They now have at least two shots at it before the player break, and several more after were they unable to lift the trophy at ESL One Cologne or IEM Chicago.
